They are powder-coated black, but this paint is a bit on the soft side. Not a big deal if you install it once and never touch it, but the screw hole edges will get marred.

These rack spacers are exactly what I needed to fill in the gaps in my server rack. They’re sturdy and do the job without any fuss. Pretty standard, but they work!

It bothered me at my new work that our MDF and IDF both looked to be an unwieldly mess of wires. We had switches and finger ducts, and appropriate wire routing and handling. All nice and clean, for the most part. However, the space between each set of switch, duct, and patch panel le the wiring show. I personally would have installed the lot without an extra space between, just for appearances sake. However, these 1U panel spacers cleaned up the wall of 2 post racks nicely. We get all the benefits of leaving the extra space, without sacrificing on appearance.

They tidy up the network racks that I install. They are cheap and clean. The screw packs are black and not silver. For the price, you can't complain.
