Material: Stainless steel + plastic[Color] : BlackUse The Tutorial:1. Turn off the engine and remove the spark plug wire.2. Connect the black connector to the spark plug.3. Insert the test metal end into the spark plug wire and try to start the engine.4. If the bulb will flicker, the ignition circuit is complete.Hint:If you do not get correct results in bright lighting conditions, try again in a less bright environment. If the ignition spark is sent to the cylinder, the lamp in the tester will glow and reflect the spark. Wish the bulb inside was a bit brighter but works as expected. Boot is too big for smaller spark plugs.Doesn’t work well on the short plugs had to trim the boot.

This tester works but, in my case the cable barely worked; way too short. The connections were not snug resulting in me having to secure each end in each hand while a second person started the vehicle. The tester worked, the light was fairly bright, but the design/length needs to be improved.

Put on a tiller to check spark. Didn't flash. Then put it on a running mower,no flash. Finely found my old tester. There was spark on both. There are reasonabley priced quality ones out there, but I believe this isn't one of them.
