Needed hand rails for our front steps. They work well and look very nice. My husband was able to install them - would be challenging for the inexperienced to install them. And as others have said in order to stop the small amount of rattle in the upright pickets he will put in some black silicone.

These were not as easy to install according to my installer as suggested. The wrenches were not really a correct fit, but that's ok he had tools. The balusters were easy to install but there is nothing to keep them from rattling when you use the railing, I'm going to devise a shim or possibly use a welding devise to keep them fixed both top and bottom, then just paint with black spray paint. The rattling makes them seem cheap. Also the small exposed bolts didn't include thread end plastic caps to prevent snags and to give it a more finished look. I'll buy the thread end protectors online, no huge deal but these are ok and certainly more affordable than custom wrought iron. It's ok for my needs but if you have a really high end home, I would go first class with custom made wrought iron. These railings are definitely coach.

Love the look of these railings. We have 4 that are placed on our walkways as they transition up a step. We added these rails as we are aging. Perfect safety rail that compliments our yard and gardens.

The bolts that come with this are useless. I purchased this for a fall-risk senior, and spent twice the cost of this rail to get it installed! Luckily, I didn't need to pay when the installer had to come back out and do it again, with actual real cement bolts that he went out and bought special, and extra cement that he needed in order to repair the damage done from the loose fit. Still rattles, which scares the senior, but at least it doesn't rock around anymore.

Stairs did not fit correctly. Returning order is too expensive and difficult to even fool with. I'm out my money and no product that works.

It was a little lighter than expected because the metal is thin, however it is durable, but I wouldn’t lean on it. It would not hold if someone fell on it. Great for the price. It’s for support so it’s perfect. Looks appealing too. I’d recommend.
