Terrific, desirable shrub performance in low-water gardens distinguishes this ornamental Texas sage. Showy reddish-violet flowers dazzle eyes in summer and fall and delight hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees. Silverado Texas sage is a dense, mounded shrub with fuzzy, silvery grayish-green foliage and added interest from smooth gray bark. Exhibiting an upright spreading habit of growth, it’s an excellent choice in mass plantings, for hedges and screens, and general landscape use. Can also be featured as a specimen plant or mixed with other plants in a sunny container on the patio, along a walkway or garden path, or near an entryway. Admirably fills in those hot spots where other plants may struggle or fail. A natural for water wise gardens, easy-care Silverado Texas sage is highly drought tolerant once established. Perfect for patio decorations outdoor, porch decorations outdoor, or fall front porch decor. Enjoy seeing your favorite aromatic variety of mint plant and lush lavender plants live happily growing beside this sun-loving sage. This potted sage shrub thrives in full sun, flowers from summer to fall and grows up to 6 feet high and wide. Gently remove the shrub from its 1 gallon nursery pot and grow in decorative garden planters, large outdoor pots for patio arrangements or a ceramic porch planter. This seasonal outdoor shrub for landscaping thrives in poor, well-drained soils but also grows in common garden soil and potting soil for outdoor plants. Hardiness Zone 7. Does not ship to AK and HI.

It's so small but mighty. It withstood 68mph wind gusts yesterday. I'm so proud of this little guy. Very healthy and well established.

NOT WHAT IS SHOWN. Very small just in a big pot. Absolute rip off. Absolutely ridiculous.

originally, I had canceled the order, but it was in a process that was already shipped to me so I had to wait until they arrived. Well, once they arrived I immediately had second doubts about resending them. They are absolutely beautiful. The packaging was well done and carefully thought of my clients arrived with the most extreme care possible, I found the same plants at Home Depot for four dollars less and they were a little bigger however, I do not regret spending the money on these plants just because of the care that was provided to them and how they were delivered to me. I will definitely order from them again . The quality of the plants were excellent condition. You can tell they were very healthy and I love the way they arrived in a box that was safe during transport.

I bought two Silverado Sage - 1G each a year ago..., this is what they look like after 1 year! I bought 2 more thru Amazon, and they are happy, healthy plants that are already blooming with the others. These plants are denser than most sage plants, and their blooms are showier. They don't require any 'real' watering... but will appreciate if you think to give them water; they are after all a drought resistant plant! :)

The plant showed up positively perky even after three days in a dark box being carted around by USPS! Even came out of box with FLOWERS a-blooming! After a couple of days in the sun new, energetic growth was very evident! Seller utilized an Ingenious method for retaining potting soil within the shipping pot! FANTASTIC SELLER!

The plant is nice and well grown but the packaging in the box was minimal. It only had a piece of paper wrapped around it in a wide box. So my plant arrived with three branches nearly snapped completely off leaving the plant damaged. I expect the branches will die and I will only have half of a plant.

I have an herb garden. Sage is a favorite in mine. The plant I received was healthy and is thriving.

I planted three of these a month ago, early September in Houston. So far they are doing quite well. I feel like I am seeing signs of growth already. I am feeling optimistic that these will do well and look great.
