Always wanted to wok this induction unit. I have been using gas stove at home for years but this unit is much more powerful and precise to the temperatures and even cooking than gas stoves! It is easy to use and clean. It literally boils water in 90 seconds! It cuts woking time in half and is easy to use and clean. Canât say enough about this unit compare to others.

I cook or stir-fry on this just about every day.The price is fantastic!It encourages me to eat more veggies.I use a 16 inch carbon steel wok.One button to turn on, press the "Stir-fry" button and it goes to highest power.You can rotate the dial to lower the temperature.Has an industrial feel and not so many buttons to press, so you can focus on cooking.

So happy I did not have to replace my 45 year old wok when we got the induction stove. This works well, the wok gets good and hot where it is in contact with the hob. I just wish the contact area was a bit wider.

Used it a week after I got it, it was ok.Used it again after 2 weeks, did not work anymore. It doesnât even heat up, just keeps beeping.Bad news is, can no longer return as itâs over 30 days. What a waste of money.Another bad news, bought one for my friend, too. The same issues.

It overheats

Overall i like the design, and when it works the power output is quite good. I love gliding my round bottom wok on the burner.However right around when the wok gets pre-heated to hot enough for stir frying, the burner overheats and needs a time-out for about a minute, which is long enough for the wok to lose significant temperature. It doesnât indicate itâs overheated, but you can hear the humming sound suddenly stop and the food stops cooking. This really sucks in the middle of stir fry as this type of cooking relies on high heat at fast speeds and cannot have the burner suddenly give out in the middle of cooking. To get around this Iâve developed a sense of when the burner overheats (less than a minute after peanut oil reaches smoke point) and uses wok tossing and adding ingredients to cool it down. Iâve also paired it with a butane torch as a backup when the burner fails, and to simulate some wok hay. But really those workarounds should not be necessary and the burner should be able to run at max power continuously.Also a minor complaint - the temperature knob should be on the left side since right hand holds ladle.Fix those 2 things and this is the perfect burner!! Induction + butane torch makes so much sense for at-home wok cooking.

This is a very powerful unit and far better than a stovetop. It gets smoking hot quickly and keeps the wok hot while cooking. I use my wok more often since getting this unit.The concave surface conforms nicely with my round bottom wok.

This product can be used anywhere. It helps avoid overheating. I have used it for couple months, it works well.
