All you need in one kit. 200ft is usually more than enough, and 1/8" cable is just about right for most uses. When you're done with your intended project. You'll still have plenty of cable and connectors for whatever you come up with next.I hung a 20ft x 14ft shade cloth over my garden as in southern AZ, even in February, your plants still need some sun blocking. They REALLY need it when it's 110 degrees in the middle of summer or they'll just burn up!All the essential hardware was included. Anchors for concrete and for wood. Loop crimps as well as bolt crimps for the cable loops. You'll have extra parts, good to have around for another project. For hanging a shade cloth which I used it for. Just locate your anchor points with room for stretching and secure the anchors. Measure your cable lengths. (Tip, you don't need a crimper for the aluminum cable loops!) Just loop your cable on both ends through the cable loop crimp connector, adjust it so the length is what you want, then just take a regular hammer and crush one side hitting it an an angle on a hard concrete surface, the crimp connector by design is soft metal. Then flip the crimp connector over and do the same on the other side, and the cable loop is locked in the crimp connector just as well (or better) than using a crimper tool.Use the carabiners to connect to the O ring anchors, and use the included turnbuckles on the concrete anchors. And tighten the turnbuckles to tension the wire. Done!Holds the shade cloth secure and tight even in high winds so it isn't flopping around. If it's loose it will flop around and it won't take long before it tears. If it's tensioned and tight it won't tear. I have another that's been up for 3 years now and still has no holes or tears. But same method will secure just about anything so the wire is tight. 1/8" cable is a good size, 1/16" isn't that strong, and anything larger is a bit too heavy. If you've never done anything like this before, you'll have all you need to complete the job without running to the hardware store for a few parts.

The box has everything I need to set up my shade sails and string lighting. I was looking at multiple, separate orders to try to hodgepodge what I needed to get to setting up my backyard shades. I'm new to this and was worried I'd forget something, like I do when I'm repairing something around the house. I have so many examples of jobs where I'd have to stop mid-work and drive to the hardware store or browse Amazon for what I left out, but need. This cable kit has taken the guesswork with something I'm not familiar with, and puts it all in one box, so now all I have to do is follow a step by step web tutorial. The cables, threaded shackles, eyelets, fasteners, and even reinforcment stakes(those never crossed my preparations list) are all right here in front of me, and are giving me a more confident outlook for this chore I'm soon embarking upon. It's a serious value add for me, and very worth the recommendation I'm giving it. Wish me luck and Godspeed, I'm sure I'll need it, and appreciate it. Thank you.

This is so awesome, I just can't even tell you. I've had cable already for months and wasn't able to do anything with it because unlike this one, that one didn't come with the stuff to do something with it, and I honestly had no idea what to buy for it.I have to say, I love complete kits, especially for things I haven't done much of before or learned about from someone. How can I know what I need without finding out what I need, right?Well, this has what I needed and I have no doubt it's totally secure and will stay fastened forever unless I take it down. No annoying "having to think" or any of that time-consuming nonsense. Simply all the right parts and pieces delivered to me in one complete kit of (dare I say love?) guaranteed successful installation.Easy Button. Love that thing. Push it. Go ahead...you know you want to. I'm so glad I did. So just push that Easy Button. Go on.....just.....puuuush.....it.

1/16" is really thin, and the entire spool is just slightly larger than a large spool of fishing line. This is a great kit to keep around the house because you end up finding all sorts of uses for it. Basically anytime you think "I need some string" but you want it to actually be durable, you reach for this.Obviously, you can't tie knots with this, it's far too stiff. So it comes with a whole kit bunch of mounting tools that you can use for all sorts of things. The tape measurer is pretty useless so you can toss that or use it for measuring yourself for clothing. The wrench is also kind of useless but it fits the bolts on this. I say just use an adjustable wrench. The wall anchors are kind of bad but they do work. I would use your own wall anchors though.Everything else in the kit is very useful. The only thing I would add would be a wire cutter. I have some but, I think if the tape measurer and little wrench and wall anchors were swapped out with a semi-decent wire cutter, that would improve on this kit. As it is though, it's a good value and comes with a ton of useful components. The most important thing about these is that they are made of stainless steel and have a plastic sheath. This makes it actually useful for using outdoors, especially if you're in a very humid environment like myself.
