I was able to use this with a forstner bit to make some very deep holes in a stump that I was doing a project with. It was easy to use, the bit fit easily into it. Tightening it was simple, but should be done carefully to prevent damage to the bit of the extension. If you need more length, this is a good option.

I bought this to extend my hole cutting set. I do all sorts of projects and this attachment provides a ton of extra torque and control when drilling in tight areas. Really happy with the product and I will definitely buy more in the future!

The extension itself is reasonable well made. The hex shank is nice, especially when using with larger forstner bits, which create a lot of radial force. However, the set screws that secure the bit in the shaft are very small and easily strip out. They should be at least one size larger, like another one I own. Also, this is painted metal, so likely not a high grade alloy. But we will see...
