Hardly a single kink in the entire roll, and those were minor. See attached image. The tube's diameter is 2 inches. Nearly the whole 1lb of wire was used to make this coil. I have taps looped ever 10 turns down the entire length. Will purchase again. Fantastic for crystal radios as well.

Very well made winding wire, used it to repair a 1940 oscillating fan. Worked fine and the price is right.

A nice compromise between weight, length, and cost. I bought this to wind a ferrous-cored long-wire antenna; works great.

Jag lindade om den för att göra en elektromagnet. Hade tråden från innervarvet också varit åtkomlig. Hade det varit enklare

It's just wire and it worked fine for my app (needed to wind coils for an electromagnet). I was a little surprised at all the kinks in the wire. They weren't visible but I could definitely feel them as I was spooling the wire on the new bobbins for my electromagnet. I ended up needing a second spool and bought another so I was "happy enough" to repurchase the same item from the same vendor!!
