These are decent sheet metal screws and it is super handy to have an assortment like this around the shop when you need it. If you had to buy these in those little plastic bags at the big box store you would pay 10x this price easily. Very happy with this set. The case arrived in one piece without issue.

I found this set of self-tapping screws very handy for various household and workshop tasks, and it has been a great addition to my toolbox for general repairs. These worked perfectly and come in a nice variety of sizes. They are strong and the black oxide looks very nice. I used them to keep the hatch door inside plastic cover on for my wife's trailblazer and they really look nice. They went through the plastic and metal very easily.

I like this set of self-tapping screws. First, they really are self-tapping. They have a drill bit tip that carves and clears wood so that the threaded screw shaft has less of a chance of splitting the wood. I see screws nowadays often described as self-tapping just because they have a sharp tip. That doesnât make it self-tapping because they are more likely to split the material. These screws are built well, and the steel is strong. It would have been better if they were stainless, but the finish is just fine for most applications. The set includes two styles of heads. Hex heads, which are really nice for installation. I like using a nut driver to minimize slipping and stripping, so hex heads have that advantage. It is quickest and easiest. The other heads are wafer heads with a Phillipâs head cross. These are convenient, because I always have a Phillipâs head screwdriver at hand and the wafer acts somewhat like a built-in washer. All of the screws are nicely organized in a solid plastic case. There is a legend and a section for each size and style. This makes it convenient to find what I need, and it saves time, especially with the wide range of sizes included in this set. This set of self-tapping screws is a good value.
