4 Key Remote Contorl

I installed this underglow kit on my Surron. Its an OK light kit and gets the job done but I'm not super impressed with the implementation of everything on this kit. It comes with really long wires which could be good if you have a large bike but I found it kind of annoying because I ended up having lots of extra wire that I bundled up and had to cram in tight spaces out of sight. This extra wire ended up being a problem later because it blocked air flow to my motor and made it overheat more easily.If I were to do this again, I would probably order an underglow kit with rock lights instead of light strips like this kit has. I will admit that the LED strips in this kit work well and look pretty good but its just kinda overkill for my needs. The adhesive on the strips is sufficiently strong and I have not had an issue with any of the light strips falling off prematurely. Just make sure you clean the surface before sticking the light strips down, otherwise they will not stick well.As for the controller board, it is made from a very thin plastic and does not look waterproof to me. I have used it in heavy rain and it worked just fine but the build quality of the controller box is not confidence inspiring.I did like all of the different controls that come with this LED kit. You get a FOB for turning lights on and off and another remote for more adjustment options of the light color. Plus there is an app to change the lights too. The app is OK. You can tell the manufacturer didn't put a lot of effort into the app but it is functional and gets the job done.Overall, I would consider these lights to be OK. They work as advertised and they look pretty good once installed but if I were to do this again, I probably would not have ordered these lights since rock lights seem more practical compared to LED strips. But if you want the LED strips, this isn't a bad kit. The strips have good adhesive and everything in this kit held up when I was riding in very heavy rain. The wires for the light strips are super long so if you have a large bike, this would be a good kit. Since I was installing them on a Surron, I the extra wire ended up being pretty annoying and getting in the way.

I received the lights, tested them out, installed them on my motorcycle (which is a pain in the ass to do on a hayabusa) only for the lights to not function properly. Within about 15 minutes, after installation, majority of the colors stopped working. The only colors that work now are white, blue and green. Some of the strips are brighter than the others. In addition to that, the lights also switch function on their own while riding so they’ll flash, strobe, flicker, and change color on its own which is very distracting and dangerous to the operator. They also turn have been turning on, on their own even when the bike is powered off which drained my battery. I’ve tried trouble shooting with no luck. I will be returning for my money back as this product fell very short of functionality and expectations. The most frustrating part is the damage it will cause to my fairings from having to remove them. Ya get what ya pay for 🤷🏼♀️
