The spool is much bigger than I was expecting due to the plastic sheathing - which made me happy! Works well, easy to cut/splice, and a great value for the money.

I cant complain for price its not a high end wire by no means its copper clad aluminum,it claims to be the same signal transfer as copper.I have nice equipment but not high end enough to tell the difference.I have had a roll or 2 that seemed like it wasn't the true wire gauge it claimed to be by comparing to a premium roll I had....seemed a tad under sized to me.Its flexible, solders nicely. the sheath melts quickly.Don't have much more to add yet.I will buy more less some weird discovery is made.

Okay, so the 16 Gauge Speaker Wire Cable (100 feet) is basically the unsung hero of my home theater setup. I was able to connect all 5 speakers without breaking a sweat, and still had a little bit of wire left to spare—talk about value! The wire is super thick and feels solid, so I’m not worried about it fraying or losing signal. It was easy to work with, and I didn’t have to pull a MacGyver to make everything fit. If you’re setting up a sound system and don’t want to run out of wire halfway through, this is the one. It is a must for a home theater.

I needed a 100 feet/16 gauge speaker wire.I wanted something not overly priced but quality made.This wire was perfect for the job.It striped well with my wire stripper tool.It also cuts very well with a wire cutter.The cable is well made and seems to do the job well of sending power to my speakers.I can see this wire lasting a long time.I can also see it paired well with a nice pair of banana plugs on both ends as the cable is a nice white color.Of course it would have been better if it was pure copper oxygen free but i knew it wasnt when i bought it so that was my choice.Would definately recommend this brand for wire.

Decided to use 16 gauge for my rear speakers. One length is 45' (you want to upgrade to 14 gauge for over 50') so this was cutting it close, but I figured it would be okay. A good test of quality at that length.... and the surround sound is crystal clear coming through the Polk speakers at room shaking volume levels.Got the white to help hide it on the white walls. Works perfect by turning the one side with the black stripe (for negative) against the wall. I noticed some people complained about the spool - but I don't care about the spool. It gets thrown away. Who cares? I'm happy they found an inexpensive way to send me the wire.100% happy.

Mistake of buying without reading the small prints…strands is only 26. Much too little for a 16awg grade. Never expects Gear will manufacture such less strands on top of a non full copper wire.Less filament means the sound quality will be very much compromised somehow.Not a good audio wire per se as compare to other Brand’s.Really regret. Sighed.
