Can’t wait till they start getting roots on them. The seeds look very, very healthy.

All of my seeds seem good. Reminder for some, you don’t add soil initially just the water. Also don’t use cold water and change it at min daily. They take 8 months to bloom with a flower and may be leaves until then. I’m excited but a little worried where I’ll put them when they’re ready to bloom 😅 pick is from 6 days of growth

Bought these and after a week they started to sprout - they are easy and VERY fun to grow! Not quite sure how far to let them sprout before planting them in aquatic soil (bought separately) however so far so good!

I will give three stars for now and should things get better from what I’m seeing today I will edit my review. So far I’ve chosen to start with red white and blue lotus seeds most of them are floating and from what I understand this means they are not viable. If so, now I understand why they would send 160 seeds but still if I’m paying for 160 seeds I should get 160 seeds worth not half as many- it seems more are floating than have fallen into the bottom of the bowl. Very disappointing so far.Well, here we are two weeks later the stems had overgrown the purple vase, so I switched them to a wider, larger fish type bowl. I added soil as the instructions on the package and the next morning I found them basically dead. In the purple vase, the stems had grown higher than the vase, and it seemed that they had buds on the end. I’ve started all over again with the smaller bowl. The point is to see whether they will revive in the larger fishbowl, and if they will start growing again in the smaller bowl.

The water gets murky and needs daily changing. Apparently I’m supposed to put them in a bowl with dirt that doesn’t float and somehow keep that water cleaned daily. This is more than I want to do. I think if you have a water lily set up in place or wish to make one, these seeds are good quality. But it is not just add water-get flowers as they advertise. I’m a competent gardener, but these require more than I’m willing to do.

These are going wonderfully the first picture is after five days. The second picture is six days. I did read a few reviews that said that their seeds did not grow. I have to assume because mine are doing so well that they didn’t cut the ends off the seeds. You have to break the seed barrier. If you want to grow these do some homework and research. And then you’ll have so much fun!Just wanted to add a picture of how they look like today.I have had no smell from them whatsoever. I have changed the water once. I am excited to see what they do from here! It’s been another week, and the two lilies out of the four lilies that started to grow, have come out of the top of the water. I did change to a taller container for them.Remember, I did start with four lilies two of them didn’t sprout. I do believe it was because I didn’t split the end of the seeds well enough. Because when I took them out, there wasn’t a hole for the water to get into the seed. And they are like nuts, they have to get a big enough hole for the water to get to the seed.So in this photo number four, they’re getting leaves within the water and leaves coming out into the air.I hope taking time to do this with you is helping people with their water lilies.

These had sprouts by 3rd day. Don't use soil. Just water and hydroponic food. Can't wait to see more growth. Tried soil in the bottom but clouded the water. Almost all sprouted. Only started about 16. Only 2 did not sprout.
