The brackets look shiny and seem to be sturdy. Screw length is a little short so I used with other screws. Great for home projects.

I used these L-brackets to hang lights around the entry to my house. They worked great and to hold the lights in place on the L-brackets I used zip ties.

These little L brackets are just what I needed to install my bookshelves speakers from my surround sound systems on the ceiling and these little L brackets are great to make little speaker brackets that I have creative I need it a bracket to put my speakers on the ceiling and I didn't know what the come up with but I had an idea to buy some L brackets and make a speaker bracket for the ceiling and these brackets fit the bill small enough strong enough very strong they may still just big enough to take two and put two brackets on each side to hold it up on the ceiling.
