They didn’t make the filters for my cats litter, box anymore, so these are a great replacement because you can cut to fit.

This comes in big squares, so if you don't actually have the litterbox it's advertised for it's a decent choice that you can cut down to size. I just placed it whole inside my litter tray (I have a Litter Robot 3) and it seems to be doing a decent job getting rid of the odor from the box.

I had gotten these filters to replace the ones on the top of my cats' litterboxes. Unfortunately, I didn't get a good measurement, so they didn't really fit properly. They are quite a bit thicker. I was able to compress/squeeze it in (two with one cut to fit the size) and they seem to be working as well as the previous ones that came with it. They don't make the litterboxes smell like a fresh field of daises, but they do help cut back on the odor. So, be sure and check the sizing. I do like that these come in a quantity of eight. Overall, useful for the inevitable stanky cat smells emanating from the litterboxes.

TL;DR: I'd definitely recommend these for anyone like myself who cannot stand the smell of a litter box. The active charcoal filtration really helps reduce litter box smell.Build quality: 10/10. Very thick for the price, when compared to other brands sold at stores like PetsMart and PetCO.Functionality: 8/10. I don't think anything besides a 500-1000 dollar automatic litter box will truly get rid of the litter box stink, but for the price. These do a decent job.Price to value: 10/10. You can get a litter box with door and charcoal filter slot for 40$ on amazon, or your local pet store. Then add these to help take the edge off. Much better than purchasing one of those expensive "machines" for your cat to use.Overall recommendation: For cat owners, a cheap and decently effective method of helping reduce the overall wafting air of the litter box, preventing it from spreading through your home.

Am I crazy or does my cats litter box not smell anymore? Seriously, I can't tell if I am imagining it or not. These were super easy to install in our litter box and are pretty darn effective in eliminating our cats heinous smells. We have an enclosed litter box because we have 2 toddlers and I was worried they'd get into her box. So this works well at catching odors as they can only go out in through the door or the top vent.

So these charcoal flters are nice and durable. They are half inch think and they will cut but they will dull your knife or sizers.
