Does not work well with pulsing load, display goes blank when using load with pulsating higher current. Leads are way too short, so it's hard to solder to them. It works and it's good for the price however if you buy, I'd recommended crimping on wires instead of soldering since the wires coming out of the box are so short.

They are nice little meters but I wanted to use two for solar power production comparisons. But when I went to verify the two panels were outputting the same power I kept getting different values from a side by side comparison. After switching panels and loads back and forth it turned out one meter always read higher than the other. I have since redesigned my project. For normal use I think it might be fine just not for what I need. I had to send them back.

Great addition to my power box, the only issue was connecting the Anderson power poles with the leads being about two and a half inches. It can’t be beat at this price point and I’ll buy another one and use a different connector.

I bought this for doing bench testing of electric RC airplane motors. It's great because it plugs right inline and reports on volts, amps, and watts all at once. As I mentioned though, the screen is practically unreadable with lower voltage, like a 2s Lipo battery that's low on charge. 3s and up is plenty bright though!

It is the best DC Amp meter I have ever bought so far. Heavy duty 22AWG Wire. East and quick to hook up. Very accurate and rugged. Tells you everything. I’ll buy again for all my equipment.

I have not owned it very long, but it has worked great so far. No issues, seems to be reasonably accurate too.

I have been using two of these for years now. I bought two more because I added a third set of solar panels and I wanted one for a backup. My old ones are working great but I discovered on the very next morning when the sun was coming up, that I had no readings on the new one like I did on the old ones. I had to reset the breaker on the combiner box to get current readings. They sent me a replacement and I returned the defective one. In the meantime, I installed the backup one hoping that it would work without having to be reset each and every morning. But alas, it too was defective. I was wondering if it was a programming change or a design flaw because it was newer. I contacted the company and explained what I was experiencing and they offered me a refund and they would send the defective one back to the factory and explain my issue. I accepted the refund but told them I would rather have one that worked properly. They immediately got back to me and informed me of my refund. I wrote a seller review for them and gave them 5 stars for their customer assistance and service. Not their problem but the manufacturer's. Bottom line for anyone who has installed this meter, once the new day dawns, these meters should start giving you data. If you see a blank screen it is defective.Edited to 4 stars on 7/31/23. I have decided to add another star as this really is a good meter for the money but not five stars as my older ones are. No way should this 4 star rating reflect on the 5 star rating that I have given to the seller. They are without fault. They satisfied my concerns and reimbursed me for my purchase. 5 stars for them!

Volts, amps, watts are quite accurate for the price, within 0.5% on amps and 0.3% on volts for mine (relative to an in-cal Fluke 289).Everything else about it is trash. The amp-hour and watt-hour measurements are off by at minimum 6%, and 17% (amp-hours) and 41% (watt-hours) low at 30A. I fed it with a constant current supply and external meter/shunts, from 100mA to 30A in a few steps. Because its error varies with current, there's no way to "just add 8%" or similar. It's likely within 20% at reasonable currents, but that's really not useful. You could know battery state of charge more accurately with a voltmeter from 1908 than this thing.Safety 3rd -> This thing is a fire hazard to anyone non-technical enough to believe the lies, so don't. 150A would absolutely melt this thing. If you buy one of these because $ alone, test it for longer duration and higher current than normal usage before leaving it alone. This is deceptive false advertising at best, like probably half the garbage sold now..The shunt resistor is 1 milliohm, 5% tolerance, and inline with the negative lead. Given its size, it is rated at most 4 watts based on datasheets of similar. 150A through that is 22.5W, so it's overrated by 5.5 times. The positive lead is straight through, you can hook either end of it to your power source and cut off the other if more convenient. The "manual" says it works on 5v, but the screen doesn't work until ~8v.The manual says nothing about how to connect auxiliary power (the pinout of the 3 pins), or what connector to use.Soldering is marginal at best. It's likely variable between units, but the one I got was near-melting the wire/board/shunt solder joint at 30 amps.If voltage drops to a certain range then comes back up, it locks up and requires a full power cycle to work again. Real simple to fix this in circuit design. There's zero strain relief on the wires. If you pull on them much, they're coming off the board.Overall it's a volt/amp/watt meter for
