I really wanted a steamer that sucks the water back up. This does not. It is easy to use and plenty of steam comes up but it does leave water on the floor. I use a pad from my old steamer to just give it a good wipe. I have used this outside on my patio cushions and it did steam them clean. So just be aware. It is small and does store easily.

This Potlimepan multipurpose steam cleaner is without any doubt in my mind an amazing appliance. It provides deep cleaning results that produce amazement. The dirt and grime are dissolved and transformed into residual waste that can later be captured by a good vacuum cleaner.I tested it on stuffed animals that were exhibiting a good deal of child wear. They were cleaned to a healthy brightness in just a few minutes. Things like big stuffed horses, teddy bears, and doll clothes became healthfully clean. The amazement comes in when you realize that the only cleaning agent or solvent involved is the steam generated from water alone. The cost of electricity and water is thousands of times less than a cleaning solvent. We have all had experience with how they spread the stains around and gets them to make a graduated blend with the surrounding color of the fabric, like carpets. I forgot to mention that I tested Potlimepan steam cleaner on a couple of coffee stains on my carpet. More amazement they are completely gone with a simple followup vacuuming. Now that is really amazing.I used the steam cleaner on vinyl floors, carpeted floors and even the walls and most particularly the ceiling in my shower. Again, it was death to mold, residual lime, and soap scum in the tub. When you are cleaning things keep the brush or tool moving don't soak. There is heat in that steam, dirt dissolving heat, so the trick is to dissolve the crud not the patient. You do this by making several quick passes. In the moment the steam produces fantastic heat, but because it is fabric and steam the cooling is more immediate so you can come back in seconds for another few short strokes on stubborn stains that before were impossible to remove. This steamer is an uncomplicated assembly. For that matter, there isn't anything to assemble. After you read the instructions, attach the steam dispenser hose, add your water, select the tool needed, plug it in, and you are set to go, and go I did.Got to say that his is a great home appliance. No apartment that I live in, should be without one.You get the full gamut of cleaning accessories, very adequate instructions. In my opinion this is a good value, and excellent appliance. If I still lived in a three story house I would have one of these on every floor.I am giving this wonderful cleaning gadget a full FIVE STAR RATINGI am a well satisfied user.

Easy to set up and use. Looks a bit retro but that's a good thing. Heats nicely and quickly. Able to clean easily. Don't feel cheaply made.

UPDATED REVIEW: It turns out that if you try and open the cap to insert more water and the appliance is hot, it will not open for safety purposes. Once the appliance cooled down it has worked ever since.I got to use it once in my kitchen and then I was all excited to try and steam clothing, but the cap would not come off to be able to add water so it is essentially useless now that the return period is closed.

I was amazed at how much steam this littleThing can put out. Definitely a nice high pressure cleaner. Absolutely worth the money.

It does not keep the pressure and heat for more than a few minutes. So you have to stop cleaning every few minutes and let it build up steam again.

I bought the steam cleaner, expecting to have hot steam, coming out of it to clean and disinfect the items that I intended it to be able to clean, and the steam comes out barely warm. I had a steam cleaner in the past, and the steam was always piping hot from start to finish. Yes, I have plenty of time for the machine to heat up, but it does not matter how long I allow the steam to get hot, it simply does not come out hot.
