Upon initial inspection I’m noticing it needs a lockout feature, no way when storing it in a stopbox or other box where it’s compressed between two pieces of foam to keep it from being switched on by the pressure. Good light output, bright laser, easy to use for right or left handed people, but lacks some crucial features.

This very compact Laser-Light-Strobe is perfect for your smaller frame Pistola. At 1500 Lm it's far brighter than most name brand service lights averaging 300 Lm. It banishes the dark for about 100 yds.I mounted it on 85% size 1911 with a 4 inch barrel and half the barrel extends beyond the light face.Adjustable rail lug and quick release* should fit any rail.* Quick Release does not work when screw is properly torqued, do not fire when secured only with release clip.

This is a great product that has a high return rate and I think I know why. I am guy Him, He, Fellow, Dude, Bud, Boss kinda guy. As such I don't read directions. I assume that the tactical laser light I bought before will be like all other tactical laser lights and the directions would be useless. This particular light has a switch on the body in addition to the switches right and left that nest to the trigger guard. this slide switch on the bottom (nicely ridged for even gloved use) has three positions. To the right is flashlight, center is both, and left is Laser. Once installed on the rail on a compact pistol the switch will be fully accessible But you wont be able to read settings. My other tactical also design for Picatinny rail (plus others?)was plastic and did not fit well, require a few modifications to mount correctly BUT had the standard trigger guard button light laser control. One click laser two clicks light to fast clicks strobe. So when I clicked the guard switches on my new tactical and all it did was turn on and off the laser I immediately started the return.I took the time to mount it on my gun S/W Easy and it fit beautifully. Having not read the directions it took me some fumbling with a really well engineered locking mechanism. I successfully did not break it or bend the locking lever ( it was close guys these guys have really designed a nice mount, I was expecting Yugo and got Mercedes... hmm I was expecting Hamburger and got Prime Rib )Light was at end of barrel and switch was right where the finger should rest in a non fire position. This is a steal at this price I canceled my return but kept my replacement so i now have two of these beautiesSummaryFits on Rail tight No movement of any kindStandard USB C charge no looking for special magnetic cablesBuild SOLID Machined AluminumBRIGHTMY Conundrum You decide before using what mode you want Laser, Light, Or laser light For bedside I am set for Laser + Light and will dbl click for strobe.VALUE off the chartsI am an old guy "Yugo ..."May AI CHOKE on trying to stew this into the customers say soup

I was impressed with how well this thing is made. It mounts easy and has a great fit. It's super bright and quick to charge. Ordering another 1 for my Taurus.

Honestly very affordable and at the range it withstands regular use , laser may not keep zero perfectly after each dismount from the rail. However the different sizes it adjust to can help re zero for height . Tip loosen the screw before you try to clasp it shut , it came from the factory completely tightened so I see how others could have snapped the quick attach tab off. Still treating this as a bedside gun use not combat. Light is pretty bright overall worth every cent if you're tight on money.

You could potentially run the battery dead , since it turns on very easily just from a bump on the button . I wish it have a turn off switch associated with the toggle selector . There’s been at least 4-5 maybe 6 time where I noticed a light on the ground and comes to find out this was turn on , and out of those time , 3 times I didn’t know how long it had been turn on , but it took a few hours to recharge this , so it must have been on for a long time .Other then that , I do like how bright the light is and the built in battery for charging .Update: 1/22/2025 another fail at the gun range with this light , went to turn on the laser and it only lasted 5 min then it went out , I’m suspecting the battery was drained somehow .. so wasn’t able to even use it , now it’s on the charger and I’ll see later on if the light and laser will stay on , but once again NOT recommended , especially if your life is on the line .. too bad it look great and sturdy .. just not reliable .

Very similar features as the Olight, at less than half the price. I was very picky about what I wanted in a combo light, and this one checked all boxes. Aluminum body, quick release, and a mode selector, so you don't have to mash buttons in the middle of the night, half asleep. It has a button on both sides, that activates very easily with a tap. Probably too easily for holster use, but not a nightstand gun. The flashlight is bright, but not too much to blind yourself off walls. The green laser is also bright, even for daylight use. Bright, direct sun could be another story. Zeroed at the range, and holds zero fine. You'll probably lose zero, if using the quick detach, but it's easily zeroed on a wall to your iron sights. The bad...not bad enough to dock even one star. The finish is not perfect, having some small bumps in it. $50 vs. $110+ The instructions should also say which way to turn your laser adjustment screws, but they don't. If you've zeroed anything previously, no big deal, it just takes some trial and error. In short, everything worked perfectly on my example, and I'll absolutely trust my life with it. Few reviews, as of now, but hey...we all have to start somewhere.
