Actually stainless, have been using them outdoors for a year with no corrosion.

These are a little more effort to install compared to the rounded type with the off-center hole, but they hold more securely. These also stay in place much better if you're trying to secure something it an awkward location. Good finish and threads on all too.

These work great. They are well formed and easy to install

I have some 30 series extrusion to test with forcirrwnt project and I noticed I could get it to spin if I was really gentle with the bolt. When comparing it to some other drop in t bolts I have, I noticed that the corners on these drop in nuts are very slightly more rounded than the drop in bolts I have that I can not get to spin. However when tightening up like normal, it grabbed pretty much every time, so I can't complain much for the cheap price. I just wanted to mention it for others.

I'm using these in 45 series aluminum extrusion. These drop-in nuts are perfect for those long runs so you avoid sliding big pieces onto the extrusion or sliding the extrusion onto the workpiece. Run your screw through the workpiece, put a drop-in nut on the backside, and then drop the workpiece onto the extrusion. Tighten the screw with a driver and the workpiece is secure to the extrusion.

While these are not my Go-to fastener for constructing things with aluminum extrusion, they are an absolute life saver!I usually use either roll in, or slide in style connections, as they are less prone to loosening up over time, especially in machinery, but there is nothing worse than realizing you missed a couple of inserts after assembling something. These are great, because they drop right in, and turn themselves into position, offering a solidly threaded anchor point, and saving you from having to disassemble the rest of the structure. They're great for things like panels, signage, and other items that you'll either be removing, re-positioning, or adjusting. The are just as easy to remove as they are to install, and they're threaded well, so you can really "wonk" down on them. These are among the better drop-in anchors I've used, as I have yet to strip one out!I'd love to see them sold in larger quantity like 200 or more!Nice job Abeicy!

Looks like some people have had success with these on 2020, but it's not guaranteed. I found that the neck is too wide preventing it from slotting into the rails. I did test them out on the 40 series pieces I have and they fit great. What I really like about these compared to the stamped plate nuts is that they have a lot of thread depth to them, so things that need to be really tight can be without relying on a couple of threads.I tried to strip a couple of these out in my vice and accomplished this, but it involved using a hard bolt with forged threads; the typical bolts tended to strip out their threads before these nuts did.Good addition to your CNC box of bits and pieces for sure.

I have done a few projects using 10-series (1”) and 15-series (1.5”) aluminum extrusion, and have a couple more in the planning phase. I like to keep a supply of t-nuts for both sizes on hand for modifying completed projects as well as planning for new projects. This type of nut works by dropping into the slot and then turning and stopping at 90 degrees when the bolt is turned, allowing the bolt to then tighten fully; when loosening, they typically will also turn back in parallel with the slot for removal. These nuts fit into the 15-series extrusions with a little extra room and with a couple test panels, turned just as they were expected to do and secured fine; removing them also worked as expected. I have in the past encountered some similar that didn’t want to turn properly due to not enough friction on the threads, so I may put a tiny amount of blue thread lock when using these to ensure good turns when tightening and loosening. . The ¼” threads are clean and well formed. The price, combined with Prime free and quick shipping is good and I plan to purchase a few more packs of these to keep on hand.
