I was trying to use normal riv nuts on my plastic bumper support and they’d rip out. I found these and they did the job! They’re very long so a normal riv nut tool will not work properly though I managed to get it to work with a washer and ingenuity. As far as holding up, it’s solid! No chance it’s ripping out, looks and feels high quality

These are great rivnuts for the times you need extra holding power. Just make sure your mandrel length is sufficient for the added length plus a few spare mandrels (cap screws) as the added rigidity can easily bend the mandrels. Highly recommended.

These nut rivets work well. These do require a special tool to grip and keep them in place while you crush them but you can get away with using a larger nut and grooving it. The stainless is amazing, which im happy about to avoid rust. As for the threads they work well with the m8 and domt bind. Overall no complaints.

Well made no complaints. I ordered the M5 set. Dimensions seem accurate to the chart that is listed on the page, install was not too bad and offers a nice secure nut on sheet metal or blind surface with a nice surface on the exterior to bolt up to for an overall clean look. With the security of a healthy set of threads to bolt down to.Some extra notes from my particular situation if it helps. While I lack the proper tensioning tool, I used an M5 bolt to provide the tensioning force backed up by a slip washer and oversized bolt for a similar effect. The nut set nicely; I did find that drilling to the size of the flared star size rather than the shank of the nut was more ideal as hammering the nut through seems to deform this section not allowing for ideal installation. But likely a non-issue with the proper tooling. Try a few tests installs before tackling your project to be safe if you are a rookie like me. In my case i will be installing them on my bike's fork to secure a front rack.
