I ordered exactly what I needed, 50 1/4-20 x 5/8 stainless hex bolts. Unfortunately the box I received was open and two bolts were missing.

I have a decently large workbench, but my amount of tools has quickly overwhelmed it. I swap out certain gear like a band saw, miter saw, etc. as needed and I put in 1/4-20 threaded inserts into the workbench itself where they are mounted so I'm not putting new screw holes in my workbench to stabilize the equipment every time I swap gear out. So, a 1/4-20 assortment will make sure everything gets mounted firmly and snugly regardless of the tool in use. This is a great assortment for a good price, and saves me a whole trip to my local hardware store... plus, stainless screws/ bolts can be a dollar or more a piece when buying from a Big Box. Substantial savings getting an assortment here. Although I knew what I was getting into, it would be nice since there's 180 pieces to include some more in-between sizes (2.5", 2.25" etc.) and that would make it a much more versatile piece of kit. I wouldn't mind having a few less of the other sizes to fill out the range.

They provide a great broad-based solution for small shops.

These are great quality stainless steel 1/4-20 (course) thread at 1" long. I use these all the time and can never have enough. These are the perfect size to stock for when i need small to medium bolts.
