Needed an adapter for my logitech orb mic (which uses 1/4"); my new mic stand unfortunately only takes 3/8". But this adapter was perfect to connect the stand to the microphone. Hurray!

I ordered this adapter because I didn’t bother reading the box for the phone holder I picked up. Part of that was me and part of it was society. The holder I got at Walmart and it had to be unlocked, so no reading the back before check out.Getting it home and pulling out my desk tripod, so I could a set up my phone in a better viewing angle for my DM notes noticed it was too small for the tripod. Hoping on Amazon because I didn’t want to drive all over town looking for tripod adapters because I don’t know where to start I found this product.Now for the part of the review you the reader cares about if you even bother reading this part. It’s an adapter made of plastic. That’s it! It connected fine. It depends on where you want to take it and what you want to do with it.Light stuff this will do just fine. As said above I got it to hold a $10 phone mount on an old Amazon branded desk tripod for my RPG notes. It is going to sit on a desk and that’s it nothing new or special, so it works. If you are having it support an expensive camera, or in a high traffic environment maybe consider a metal adapter. At the end of the day it is a plastic adapter great for most situations, but not great if you want something stronger.
