This product is a flexible, lightweight, easy to use and easy to cut to fit. The spikes should deter any animal but it didn’t deter my ginger cat 🐈. He just pulled them apart and sat on them anyway. It may work for other cats but not my “No Limit Soldier” kittyA spray bottle with mint scented water did deter him though

These work well. My only complaint is they are very light weight and the cat can move them if they are not permanently anchored to the floor.

I just received them and they are light weight and I don't know if they will blow away in high winds. My old spike strips have air holes all over and they don't blow away. These spike mats don't have any holes. I have 2 stay cats that get in my tomato garden and use it as a litter box and they walk right over my old repellent spikes. The new spikes are sharper so it's too soon to tell how well they will work.

Bought to keep our 3 cats off of bookshelves after 1 cat urinated on our books. It only took one jump on these to deter them.

Though the item was described as a deterrent to "other animals" it isn't. I spent hours linking them together w zip ties and then putting them at my fence. My puppy just walked right over them. I don't know how they would do with cats.
