Inexpensive drill motor extension. Works nicely. Round end fits up to 1/4" round shank.

I use them to bore out partitions in bamboo, for native american flutes. Machining needed slight bit of work. Would recommend them for hobbyist.

These are good when you're stuck in a pinch. The end is smaller than tool truck extensions I've seen. You will need bits with a 1/4 in drive to sit square in the collet. The grub screws can stick or strip if you crank on them. And they do usually stick out outside the head of the extender. It functioned well for my uses though. It may not last more than a few Jobs.

Each of the shafts has two very small set screws to fold the drill bit into place. My set was missing one of the screws entirely. I only needed to use one shaft at a time so I set about my project. Despite tightening the screws as much as possible with the accompanying hex key, it didn't take long for the screws to work themselves loose and fall out, forever lost in the engine compartment of my boat. I got less than 2 hours of use from them.

I used this 12" tool to drill into an outside brick wall and had a bad experience. The set screws came out while it was in the wall and the drill bit is now in the wall forever. I had tightened them as hard as I could, before use but they still came out. Beware where you use this tool.

I had gotten tired of the extension that have a magnet in them when you drop them enough that magnet will loosen and more than likely get lost. These on the other hand I have dropped them from high enough that it might get scratched up but it hold on.The reason is that they have to be tighten up with a allen key that is provided. Now yes it is not as fast as a magnet but these will last longer and just takes a few seconds to tighten or loosen them upLooking forward to many years with these two extension.
