There is an opening in the side of the housing I assume to be used to allow the cord access to surface mount power supply. My plan was to have no wire exposed; that left the hole open. The Amazon pictures show a plug for this hoe. Neither light came with the plug

This light is very bright covers about 180 degrees I’m going to use it on the side of my motorhome to light up the side with the steps to get in this is going to be a great addition

Only did a 4 star since the light cannot be used in exposed weather locations as it will fill up with water even if you mount it properly with the gasket, etc. Otherwise it is a decent light and worth having. I have purchased three of these and two are still working as I learned my lesson with the first light. The remaining two are outdoors but not directly exposed to the elements.
