Power
Transmitter power switch,OUT: Press the OUT button to release the winch(release to stop),IN: Press the IN button to wind up the winch(release to stop),LIGHT: The indicator is steady on after power on,and flashes when the it is working.
Automatic shutdown:
It will automatically turn off the power of the remote control when it is not in use for 3 minutes, and the indicator light will go out. If you forget to turn off the ON/OFF switch, it will be fine.

For some reason the remote is working,has power but no connection,I wish there was way to reset to see if will reconnected again

I long since got my moneys worth out of this baby, first day of it hooked up, but last time tried to use it one remote wouldn't do any thing and now upon reeling my winch inward after a few seconds it cuts out and in and out, have good battery connections and manually it never does it its just when using remote all in all i still was satisfied with its performance when it worked right, most likely it was user error I can be ruff on tools and equipment at times.

I ordered this because my winch controller wires are just too short to make safe uses of the winch. I like to be mobile when using the wench checking on all sides of the item being winched. Making sure it is not going to damage anything and I get it put in the perfect spot. with the supper short cords that were supplied with the winch your movements are verry limited by the length on how far you can move. this wireless controller can give you the range of motion you need to insure you do not damage anything while using the wench' I have 2 winches one on my truck and one on my trailer and I will be purchasing a second one of these to make my truck as easy to use as the trailer !!I hope this helps you in making your decision easier...

Pretty easy to install. Worked first time. Useful directions. Seems almost too good to be true for the price but so far. Perfect. I guess remotes could be waterproof.
