Love the unit, VERY easy to install. The Pro's very much outweigh the Con's-Pro - 1. It comes with nice long pre-connected power wires, including the appropriate sized fuse in a decent holder. 2. Fan on high speed REALLY moves some air. Strong enough I only use high for initial cool down. 3. While it is a bit bulky, with the use of a composite base plate, it is very much a one man install.-Con - A. The unit as shipped does not have the ability to bring the power wires down through the opening it will sit on. Had to pull the cover, then the fuse holder off the end of the positive wire, to reroute the wires through the same place as the control wires to bring them down through the mounting opening. If you are routing the power wires to a separate opening or plan on using a separate gland, then no problem. B. That nice high speed fan, still puts out a fair amount of air even on it's lowest setting. Not extremely, but don't mount it directly above where you will sleep unless you're one of those that has to sleep in front of the fan. C. The inner and outer housings DO NOT line up exactly. The inner fascia sits about 2" further to the return vent side than the outside unit, almost had a major oops from that. D. Even though the manual that comes with it shows the possibility of showing temps in F, the control panel only shows C. I now have a printed F to C chart on the wall nearby. E. Lastly, while the main panel has UP / DOWN controls for the fan speed, the remote is UP only. With a five speed fan, if you want to turn it down one notch with the remote, you effectively have to turn it up four times to cycle through to the next lower setting.-Would I buy it again, definitely YES.

AC is not strong and takes a long time to cool down. Heat is not whatâs advertised. It barely blows hot air. I would not buy. False advertising
