Photo shows the light output on a slightly off-white wall in otherwise dim lighting. Consumes about 2 watts. Not sure how suitable these are for any actual usable light. Leads are very thin gauge. Perhaps look elsewhere.

This light is very compact but the red and black wires that are bound in an outside insulator are very small. I had trouble connecting these to the power and ground wires coming into a truck topper. You can't use wire nuts unless they are small enough, and even then I am not sure if the connection would stay. It probably would be best to solder these connections.

I have always been annoyed by how dim the old fashioned incandescent trunk light was in my car. I've wanted to upgrade for a while now and the "12V 24V Led White Light Thin 6LEDs Waterproof for UTV Truck RV Dome Light, Under Hood Light, RV Step Light, Under Dash Light, Truck Bed Light, Trunk Light, Boat Interior Light, 1 Pc" from GZ5CG looked like a ideal option. It is close. It is much brighter than the OEM trunk light and was easy to install in the same location as the old light. The only drawback is how very thin the wires are. They are small enough that it was difficult to get them connected to the car's wiring. Forget about using the original connector, the wires are way to thin a gage. I was able to twist them to the wiring for the original light and everything seems to work. Very happy with the light and it's still a five star product. Just wish the wiring was a little more robust.
