I use these to pull some wiring in my wood shop expansion. Worked great. Easy to set up and pulled 8-gauge wire smooth and fairly easy. I also found these work well with hollow braid rope to build soft shackles.

I tried this with 14/2 SimPull Romex, and it slipped right off. The concept is great, but it just doesn’t grip the wire strongly.

It seems most manufacturers are gouging customers with price-increases on these .tools .. BUT ... these are quite affordable and very functional. Reasonably priced - just what you need to pull small groups of cables or individual cables, too. Great buy!
