Had a mercedes front CV axle that was stuck. Literally- NOTHING could remove it. I tried this- and it was VERY sturdy- even using a 3 lb steel dead blow on it. I have removed a couple other CVS since with it- no issue. The benz I ended up having to replace the front diff on as the axle literally welded itself to the bearing- but this tool put up a darn good fight. I DO wish the tips had a taper on them- so that will be a future project- but great tool for the price.

these are what you need to just pop them off in a second. No your other pry bar garbage doesnt work as these are what you need to get on both sides. A timesaver for the next time they need replacing.

I was struggling to get the right angle to remove the left axle from the transmission. These forks allow you to remove the axle from below it.So much easier.

I had a stuck driveshaft on a MINI Cooper. No matter what I tried, I was not able to get the shaft out of the transmission. I used the two forks together and was able to strike the end of the tapered fork while resting along side the other fork. The drive shaft came right out.Great tool. Highly recommend!

I bought these separators for a transmission job i have coming up.. between that and a friend bragging about how awesome they are, i had to get em'. Well my brother had been fighting a cv joint stuck in the transmission on a car so I sent them with him (kinda like a guinea pig) and told him to try them.. took him longer to get in position to use them than it took to actually use them.. he said 3 seconds and it was out.. so I guess they work rather well right? Not bad at all..
