My mare has been affected by the cold this year more than she has been in the past. We were about to slide well below zero for more than a week and she lives outdoors. Yikes! My normal go-to for blankets couldn't get one here in time. So I hit 'buy now' on Amazon.I'm thrilled. Even with a slight delay, it got here just in time. I took it to the barn and she gratefully dropped her head and dove in. This blanket surpassed my expectations. It is solid, well made and fits perfectly. I must say, red is definitely her color. Look how happy (and warm!) she is!

Great quality and durable. It comes with stretchy leg straps which are a must for us. The color is great and the fit is great. My rescue measures at a 79, but he's very underweight, so I bought an 82. Once he fills out it will fit perfectly. I would say that sizing is right on. It keeps him dry and protects him from the wind.

So far kept her dry, and the straps haven't stretched out. It also hasn't been shredded like her other blankets. Super happy with this blanket (especially for this price!!!)

Orange rain sheet. Only flaw so far is the backside of the front buckle panel is wearing through a little. Thata the reason for only 4 stars.Otherwise the fit and durability are great! Lots of room in the shoulders and hip, long drop for extra coverage, fleece at the wither and the low sircingle straps keep the blanket in place. The leg straps are not elastic and I do have to keep tightening them a couple of times a week but it's no big deal. I love the "hunter" orange. I can see my horse especially well out in the pasture despite him getting it dirty. The orange stays bright! I wanted orange sheets for hunting season. Photo was taken at dusk and he really stands out!My horse doesn't tend to stand out in the rain, he'd rather go into his shelter. So I can't accurately tell you about waterproofness. Seems to be breathable as my horse hasn't been sweaty under it. The sheet is however overall very good quality and a great buy. I would compare the quality to my Schneiders rain sheets.I had originally bought one in a size 80 for my halter built horse as well as to assess fit before ordering for my other horse which is usually a 76. But when I went to purchase the smaller size the orange wasn't available so I had to buy a comparable sheet from a Big Ds that isn't the "hunter" type orange and it cost about $20 more. I will keep an eye out for this brand for future purchases.
