These fit well and do exactly what they should to protect from anything being able to short the terminals of batteries and other electrical devices.

The description on the website says it will fit -1/4”, 3/8” and 5/16”. It seemed to be implied that they were shipping three sizes it it came in just one size. While it’s true that it will fit posts of those diameters it’s much too large to fit snuggly or really to make any contact at all. The inside diameter of these are approximately 3/4”. If your use case is to always have these on top of the battery with a wire passing through and the wires are routed perfectly so that they won’t lift the cover off of the terminal then these might work. But for smaller terminals they’re much too loose, especially if you want to use these to cover the terminals when the battery isn’t wired up.

They are soft and easy to slide on wires. They don't break. They are just perfect. Great quality and price.

these are huge. They're for covering entire battery lugs or super Big terminals. I thought I could use them to cover my starter lugs which are 3/8 but they are way oversized. Loose and floppy. I don't know if a 3/4 terminal exists, but I'd use these for that.

Used to rewire my warn winch, insulation was needed because 0 gauge is tough to pack inside the bridge!

It did exactly what I needed for my application. Two pictures are of 1/0 welding cable and two are of 2 gauge battery cable. Both use crimped 5/16 lugs. The battery has M8 bolts and the two small covers came with the batteries. I trimmed about 1/8” off the cable end of the covers to fit the 1/0 cable.
