Overall they work pretty good. Yes they cover the 10 inch speaker but not completely. I guess ultimately it matters on the brand of the speaker. Regardless, it's going to protect the speaker which is the reason why I bought it, so I'm happy with the product.

While these are not the fanciest grills, they happen to perfectly sit on top of my AudioFrog 12” subwoofers thereby fully protecting them while resting well above the flexing surround. The clips through which the screws insert are just a molded part of the plastic and not separate like many other, nicer grills. However, that actually works well for my situation, since this grill sits on top of my subs and work well to protect my subs. They look acceptable and the quality is not the best but the size is perfect for my needs, therefore I’m pleased. Since the diameter of these grills is about 12”, I would expect them to work better for a 10 or 8” speaker, where they can engulf the speaker and rest flush to the speaker cabinet. However, they do not project very high off the surface, so the rubber surround may hit the grill when flexing. You’d have to measure your particular install. Given the low price, and the 2 pack, these are still a good deal, even if they aren’t the fanciest grills. Construction seems sturdy, if not elegant.
