I uploaded images of how much larger this ring was than the speaker. I Put the ring behind it as wells o that you can see the difference on where the holes were compared to the 6.5" speaker itself. Hope this helps. I returned product with no issues.

I used these grill covers to install some door speakers on my 1987 Ford LTD wagon that did not come with factory door speakers. I had to fab it all up and source my own bolts/nuts as the screws that come with these grills would not work in my application.Not beautiful work, but not obnoxious and obviously aftermarket either... the slim mount of them allows me to use my window winder without rubbing my hand against them.When tightening down be careful not to over-tighten as these may crack.-Kyle
