I was in desperate need of thread, and I was really hoping to find a lot of brighter tones. This set was, therefore, absolutely perfect for me.I love the color selection. Each color is lovely. While they can absolutely coordinate well with one another, each is a gorgeous color on its own.The thread is very easy to work with. I haven't noticed any "stripping"- I'm not sure if there's a word for it that I'm just not aware of, but I'm talking about how some threads will show this sort of falling away when working with them, especially on thicker fabrics like denim. It's like they fray and thin out as you continue working with them. I haven't noticed any of that with this thread.I'm especially impressed with the strength of this thread. It's very strong! It doesn't just break if I'm pulling it with my fingers. I have a family of 5, and I do a LOT of mending clothing and whatnot in my family. That's part of why I needed more thread. A lot of the mending I do involves where a thread has ripped open and the seam/hem/etc has unraveled thanks to the thread just not being strong enough for the garment, and when I mend those, I really would like to only have to do so once. This thread has helped je to get there!Overall, this is just good thread in general. I'm really happy with it!

Overall this is a pretty good thread set for the cost. There are 12 basic colors and all are nice, vibrant tones with a little sheen. I used six of the spools (along with a few spools of another brand I had on hand) to make a Valentine's Day mini-quilt. I attached a picture of the finished quilt along with the spools I used in this project. The bright pink around the gentleman bird's wing is a good example of this thread. Overall it did well in my machine, but I did sometimes have problems with the automatic needle threader not picking it up. I'm thinking it may be due to the fact that this thread is a bit thin and somewhat elastic, so it may not have been staying in the threader correctly. A few times I had to just thread by hand. Once threaded I only had one thread break, which wasn't too bad given the size of this design. I don't know that I would use this on an heirloom quilt or anything, but for most projects it will do well enough and it's a great way to supplement your thread stash without spending a ton of money.

These threads feel cheap. I’m very hesitant to put them in my embroidery machine. They feel much thinner and lighter than my good threads. They’re super basic colors too. No orange. Maybe I’ll try on a tester product but I’m not sure about them. Okay selection but wouldn’t be my go to choice for future thread purchase.

I noticed that my Baby Lock embroidery machine is a thread snob and only likes high-end thread such as Madeira or Isacord. If I use another brand, my machine will experience frequent thread breaking or shredding. After I received this BlingBling embroidery thread set, I immediately wanted to test it out by using a design that will utilize most of the colors provided. I found a 6”x10” embroidery design that had an hour stitch out time. Much to my surprise, my embroidery machine loved this thread and stitched the design beautifully and flawlessly without any thread breakage with any of the colors. That never happens with off-brand thread. I am very impressed! This BlingBling thread is definitely a high-quality embroidery thread.The threads have a pretty sheen to them and the colors are vibrant. The thread seems to be slightly thicker and more durable than some of my other threads in my arsenal. The color assortment was perfect and included colors that I think are most commonly used. There is no printing or labels on the spools to identify brand or colors, but that does not matter to me. One negative thing is that the hole to insert the the mini spool cap is smaller than most of my spools (see picture) so it can be a challenge to insert and remove the spool cap because it is very tight, but it does go in. I sure hope that more colors are provided in the future with this brand of embroidery thread. I highly recommend this thread if you are constantly experiencing thread breakage with low quality thread.

I picked up this assortment of thread for my newly acquired embroidery machine. I think the colors are lovely and the thread quality seems pretty good as well. I have no issues with it. It threaded and embroidered flawlessly. I have no issues with this thread and would buy this brand again.

Nice set of basic embroidery threads. The thread seems a bit thinner with somewhat less sheen than higher priced well known threads. Sew outs worked well with no breakage. A good beginner set, but not thread I'll reach for consistently with my high end embroidery machine. I would also use this thread for hand sewing when needing the strength of a polyester thread.

My wife does a lot of machine embroidery, and always wants more thread. This thread works really well on all of her machines, even her older Brother DreamMachine, which no longer works well with most of her thread. She even was able to walk away from the machine while it was sewing, which is usually the cue for it to jam or otherwise stop working. And the embroidery made with this thread looks really good as well.
