1/18 M60 US Main Battle Tank

The M60 Main Battle Tank (nickname: Patton ), was one of the most iconic tanks of the Cold War and the fourth and final generation of the Patton series of tanks for the United States Army in the 1960s. It was used primarily as a main battle tank by the United States Army during the post-World War II Cold War period, serving from 1960 to the early 1990s.

We specialize in 1/18 classic tanks from various countries. For example, besides M60, there are also Sherman M4A3, M26 Pershing, and M1A2 abrams in different colors in the U.S.A. came in today, just got done playing with it and this tank is fun! you get the tank, remote control, some airsoft bbs, some water gel bbs, TWO batteries for the tank, charging cable, a cpl machine guns, tank commander, water bottle to put in for smoke effect and a small screwdriver. airsoft bbs were a small lot so i bought an extra bottle of 2000 bbs...remote takes 4 AA batteries(not included) tank batteries took about 2 hours to charge each. once batteries are in, bbs loaded and machine guns on... youre ready for battle! tank isnt very fast but then again tanks werent built for speed, turret spins slowly and gun elevates... simulated recoil when firing. there IS an on/off button on the turret to "arm" the gun before firing...add water in the back, push the smoke button and you have exhaust coming out the back! push sound button and you get engine idle sound, left front button "fires" machine gun and the right front button fires the main gun...lights come on and are very bright. steering is more of a stop-turn-go kind of action but still easy to manuever. forward, reverse, left right, 360 spin. turret does not do a full 360 spin just so you know. i only got one good shot with the water gel bb then they jammed up but they were old so i will try some fresh ones later but the airsoft bbs worked flawlessly. little hopper holds approx 6 or 7 bbs i think but i only put 5 in..hits harder than i thought so def will be using those outdoors... brought enjoyment to the entire family, kids were going berzerk wanting to play with it. i cant find any flaws, you cannot NOT have fun with this tank, worth every penny.

This is a fun little toy; it can be a gift for children or adults. I actually use it to 'torment' my pup. She is so confused by this and doesn't know how to react. I make sure not to shoot the little bbs because I don't want to hit her eye, but it's neat to watch her interact with it and fun for me and my boyfriend to play with.

This is a pretty nice RC tank for the most part. This is a full function RC meaning it drives in all directions along with tank style steering. The speed control is "proportional" (not on/off) however there is a huge dead zone in the stick controls which makes the driving the tank feel jerky. For example I had to move the stick to about halfway before the tank starts moving. The remaining travel is very minimal for any precise speed control so I end up either driving in full speed or the slowest speed. The speed control also feels stepped in its "proportional" control with about 8 steps in its speed control. So what does this mean overall? Just a no-so smooth type of control which makes it difficult to drive smoothly and the tank drives a bit jerky. Not a huge problem to those just looking for a tank to roam around the house. So I think this is the biggest drawback of this tank. There are 2 batteries included with the tank plus a charger. All you need is to supply 4x AA batteries for the controller. I was able to get about 30 mins of runtime on a fully charged battery which isn't too bad.The tank tracks ride on 6 wheels on each side that have its own independent suspension, plus 1 drive wheel and a idler wheel. Making 18 wheels in total. The tracks are plastic, however when driving the tank, you can hear the tracks "clacking" just like a real tank! The tracks can handle a variety of terrains. I was able to drive this on high pile carpet with no issues. Plus you can take it outside and drive it in the grass, rocks and gravel and this tank will handle all that terrain. Remember I mentioned the independent suspension? The suspension articulates the tracks so it can easily move over challenging terrain contours. This tank shoots 6mm bb's from its gun. And it's powerful! So don't be aiming this as someone. I was able to punch some holes through fairly thick cardboard and leave bb's embedded into the drywall so I imagine this would sting a bit if it hits someone. But it does come with the ability to shoot water bb's!! These don't hurt at all, and in fact it just splatters upon impact. The bb's are loaded inside a chute just behind the gun barrel. I was able to put 17 bb's in there. The chute is removable in case bb's get jammed inside the mechanism. The gun turret can rotate about 270 degrees and the gun can move up and down for elevation shots. The tank rocks backwards simulates a "recoil" when the gun is fired. The barrel also moves back when the gun is fired to further simulate recoil. The funny thing is even if the turret is turned to side, the tank still recoils backwards. There is also an on/off switch in the turret to prevent the gun from firing just to prevent the gun from accidentally firing.Exhaust smoke is very cool! And it's not toxic smoke either. It's basically water vapour. The water is poured in a small reservoir in the back of the tank, when activated, there is a ultrasonic piezo transducer (exactly what you have in room humidifiers) that vaporizes the water into a smoke-like effect. The smoke can be activated using the remote. I found the smoke effect lasts about 1 min before turning off automatically. I think this is to prevent the transducer from overheating if activated with no water in the reservoir.More realistic items include lights and sound. The engine sound can be turned off using the remote. However, the tank also produces some engine sounds when driving and it seems like this cannot be turned off. There are 2 white LEDs in the front which are quite bright and suitable for driving in the dark. There is also a red LED on the turret to indicate the gun is about to fire a bb.The plastic quality is somewhat flimsy. One of the baskets at the side of the tank was broken on arrival. A few small detail pieces have fallen off. I was able to glue these back on using superglue.Overall, this is a very cool tank and for the most part, I really like it. Despite the "proportional" control issues, this shouldn't really matter too much unless I want to do some scale driving.

I like tanks (and I cannot lie)... I'm a huge WoT fan (if you don't know, don't bother). The detail and color and size of this thing is GREAT. I love just having it sitting in my bookcase! But wait... I can actually drive this thing!!! An RC tank that moves, and the turret spins, and it FIRES pellets (airsoft-ish), and it can lay down a smoke screen!? Are you kidding me!?All of this works well. Battery life is decent (and there are a lot of batteries needed here). It's hard for me to call it a toy. It just seems... more. One note, there are a lot of pieces to this tank. Try not to lose any, they are all important to operating the tank.I've had a blast (pun intended) with this thing and it's a great conversation piece for those who see it sitting in my bookcase. Enough said... 5 stars!

I absolutely love my new tank RC toy. It is extremely heavy duty and durable. The remote control is easy to operate and pretty self-explanatory on how to operate as well. I love the camo design and colors throughout the tank. It would be a wonderful gift as well.
