Self-Tapping Threaded Insert Installation Method
- Method 1:
- When the number of installations is small, the simple installation method can be adopted. More precisely, the method of corresponding specification bolts + nuts is adopted, and the self-tapping screw sleeve is attached to the corresponding screw, and the same type of nut is used to fix it, to make the three into one whole, use a wrench to screw the screw sleeve into the bottom hole, then remove the screw.
- Method 2:
- 1. Make a hole. Depending on the material of the part, select the hole diameter range.
- 2. With the slotted end or the three-hole end facing down, install the self-tapping screw sleeve on the front end of the tool and press it vertically against the workpiece, turn the wrench to lock it. turn in the lower hole.
- 3. After inserting it into the specified position, fix the hex part of the tool with a clamping plate, and then reverse the wrench to separate the tool from the workpiece.

Installation Method of Threaded Wire Inserts
1. Drilling
Use the drill size specified for the drill hole (Figure 1A)
2. Type
Use ST taps to tap and make sure the tap size is compatible with the bolt (Figure 2A)
3. Adjustment tools
Place the screw sleeve on the installation tool, then adjust the height of the tube (Figure 3A, 3B, 3C)
4. Installation precautions
Push the threaded sleeve into the hole with slight force until the distance between the shank of the thread of the threaded sleeve and the plane of the screw hole is between 1/2 and 1/4 (as shown in Figures 4A, 4B, 4C)
5. Installation precautions
Do not try to twist the horizontal line with the installation tool, you can use the horizontal line break tool
