Installation Instructions
Step 1 : Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Step 2 : Remove the engine cover.
Step 3 : Separate the upper radiator hose clip from the intake tube.
Step 4 : Remove the two 10mm bolts & two 10mm nuts which secure the throttle body to the intake manifold.
Step 5: Using a 4mm socket, remove the two studs that previously held the throttle body to the intake manifold.
Step 6 : Using the supplied bolts, washers, and gaskets, install the Spectre Power Plate.
Step 7 : The ball stud (from step 3)must be relocated.
Step 8 : Reinstall the intake assembly by placing it over the throttle body, MAFS, and the ball stud.
Step 9 : Fully tighten the clamps securing the intake assembly to the throttle body and MAFS.
Step 10 : Install the C.A.R.B. exemption label near the factory emission label.
Step 11 : Reconnect the negative battery cable.
Step 12 : Start the engine and let the vehicle warm up. Shut the vehicle off and recheck your installation, making sure that all bolts and hose clamps are fully tightened.

Works and whistles a little as advertised. Honestly the whistling only happens when you hammer down hard on the throttle.Installed on a 2009 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 6.0L V8.

The headline says up to 2011, but this screen shot from listing shows it would fit my 2012 silverado. The bolts in the kit for this year are too short.I had to tear it all aprt to find that out. So now, your truck is torn apart and you need to go try to find the right bolts. (M6x170mm), but you cant drive your truck caus its torn apart. So you have to walk, bike, call a friend, wait for wife to get home with her car, ..etc. to go hunt for the right ones. Hardware stores did not have in stock, ..only place i found was Fastenal. Thanks for the waste of time , .and the extra $5 spent in bolts.

This is one of the biggest scams going around! I proved it just to be certain. O gain on hp and 0 gained on mpg! I have before and after results from the dyno. I was on the fence at first but I spent around $300 to test it and I can honestly say it does nothing but wasting your time to install and uninstall! Let this be your fair real experience warning!
