I almost never write reviews unless I feel a product is exceptional. This item is exceptional. It does everything right. It’s easy to install, with no special power requirements, sized to fit easily under a sink, has simple controls needed to provide whatever temperature you require.I have mine under the kitchen sink. Before I got this unit, I had two choices to wash my hands. Either let the water run for a long time to let warm water arrive, or wash my hands in frigid water. Neither was acceptable. Now I simply turn on the hot water and within seconds I get the correct preset water temperature for hand washing. Nice!In my opinion, it is one of the best items I’ve ever purchased, and it’s only $100.

This is a great small inexpensive plug in water heater. Easily installed yourself - no plumber needed. My house water heater is 35 feet away from the kitchen in the attic- hot water takes 2-3 minutes to arrive. Now I have hot water in 3 seconds! I added a piece of white tape on the temperature control so I could easily see where the temperature dial setting was.

Works fast, blazing hot. Well insulated. Doesn’t flip the breaker. Great buy.

Good solid product.Easy to install, the hoses they supplied didn't work with my fittings, but mine weren't standard fittings.I examined everything and ordered the hoses I needed.I purchased this because it took a long time for my kitchen water to get hot due to the long distance travelled under the house. It used 1.5gal of water before it got hot, that's a lot of hot water wasted everytime I rinsed my hands. So this 2.5gal unit worked perfectly, I set it for 125deg.I get instant hot water, and since it's using the hot water line, if I use more then 2gal I get the heat from the main tank.So a nice constant hot water source.I installed it with the house hot water going in and then out to the tap only. The dishwasher is still supplied by the main tank.I didn't want to run another 15amp line, so I used my dishwasher plug to power it.I purchased an inline extension switch, rated for the load.So I switch it off when I use the sanitation option on the washer. The tank keeps the water hot for a long time and it only takes about 10 minutes to heat it anyway. It is the perfect solution, it's small and easy to install. No more washing my hands in freezing water in winter, no more wasted hot water.I wish it came with it's own on and off switch though. But that's an easy fix with a properly rated inline extension switch.Great product

I ordered this small unit to put under the sink as a inline additional water heater to solve the cold water problem which caused by too long pipe from my main water heater to the faucet. It works perfectly for this purpose. The installation is simple and just follow the instructions, I connect my hot water pipe to the blue inlet, I got hot water immediately, after the reservoir 2.5G hot water runout, my house hot water coming in just right time after heat up all the long pipes.

Perfectly solved our need to get instant hit water in our high 2nd story bathroom, plus we used the included T-valve to easily split the line and feed a hot water bidet nearby. The water gets PIPING hot on the highest setting so we found that the middle setting is about right. The hot water only lasts for maybe 45-60 seconds at a time but that's enough for bathroom and bidet use (maybe not a kitchen sink).Very install install, although the instructions were quite vague. I'm a total plumbing novice but I figured it out. Maybe not the absolute best of this type of unit but it seems to get the job done!

After using it for a good break in period, I am happy with it however if they included a reducer coupling, they probably have them in bulk for cheap, it would have saved me a 20 mile ride to buy one for $10 at the big box store and I likely would give this a 5. It heats well, but you have to train yourself to slow down a bit using it for the sink as the hot water will run out quickly if you dont. I would purchase again, but still add the coupler.

This is a nifty little heater and it worked great at first. It was very easy to install and it provided fast, hot water as expected. However it began leaking at the top of the pressure release valve, and when I looked into the issue, it turned out the gasket on my hose was bad. That wasn't a big deal, but as I was tightening the new hose on to the pressure valve, the brass snapped at the pipe threads. I've never seen a hand-wrenched brass fitting break in my own hands like that before, and the the valve design appears proprietary so not easy to find a replacement. So, in summary, it's a good little heater, but the hardware is junk.Update: I replaced everything sealing every leak on top. Now it is leaking from the bottom. This product is garbage.

I bought this for my camper conversion, and I selected this over the other options mainly, because the tank is metal, and not glass-lined like the other competitor water heaters, as I know that a glass-lined tank will be a problem when it is time to winterize (if I forget and wait too late in the season, I feel a glass-lined thank would crack immediately). The installation was a bit tricky, because the included connecting piping did not fit my plumbing, but Home Depot solved that problem. The function was good. Note: I have a 2500 watt inverter in my camper van conversion, and this appliance caused the fan to come on immediately, which it has not done for other high draw appliances. I will measure it later with my kilowatt meter to verify the wattage compared to the stated specifications. The water was really hot, but uneven. It took about six minutes or less to heat the tank. I was able to get a five minute shower with my low-flow shower head (mixed with cold water).
