This is my 2nd DrDefi lamp. I use it for stitching. The light brightness options are perfect. The fabric is so clear and I notice that I am making fewer mistakes. I only wish the arm was longer, but it is perfectly balanced on the stand. Have recommended it to friends who have also bought one to help their stitching. They also like it very much.

I paint miniatures but have old eyes. This table lap with magnifying glass helps me see the details with out the annoyance of moving my eye glasses around. The metal table part allows the magnetic base miniature holder to snap down and stays nice and steady for painting details unlike my shaky hands! Very sturdy!

This is what a magnifying lens should be!! The lens is rectangular as opposed to circular (you have to move your head or lens to read a paragraph. The magnification of 10X is good for reading small words. I liked the different levels of brightness (8) and I also like the color/temperature control of the light and that is on the top panel instead of being on the power cord. The arms are very flexible and the base is heavy enough to support the lens if the arms are fully extended. It does come with a lens cloth and a clamp (if I have to use the clamp). The only negative is that it does not come with a lens cover ( I use the bubble wrap that the product came with). This product is good for sewing and I do not have to use my hands to hold the lens or arms steady. I give this product 5 stars.
