I’m an Esthetician for 23 years these blades are dull, I had to use three blades to get thru my dermaplaning, I would generally use 1 blade, the treatment took much longer because the blade being dull!! I can’t image people would rate the blades a 5, they are not even a 1 star honestly.

These are great for the price! I’ve used Swann Morton blades in the past and you can definitely tell the quality difference. These don’t feel as nice as SM but still good and get the job done! Budget friendly too:)

As a licensed esthetician and small business owner, I use the 10R Dermaplaning Blades often in my treatment room, and they’ve been a fantastic addition to my services.The blades are sharp and effective, providing excellent exfoliation and leaving clients’ skin incredibly smooth. I’ve found they fit perfectly with my blade handle and are very easy to use, making my treatments seamless.Each blade is individually wrapped and comes in a well-organized box that’s easy to open, ensuring both hygiene and convenience. The individual dispensability is a thoughtful touch for maintaining a clean and professional workspace.Depending on the texture and thickness of the hair, the blades may dull slightly quicker, so I sometimes go through more than one per session. However, using a back bar oil cleanser for slip allows for smooth gliding and prolongs the blade’s efficiency during use.Overall, the quality of these blades makes them worth the price, and they’ve proven reliable for various hair types and skin textures. I would definitely recommend them to other professionals looking for high-quality dermaplaning tools.

I am an esthetician and used swann-morton blades for years but their quality has gone downhill to an extreme, the blades were never sharp anymore and so dull that they would not remove ANY vellus hair or dead skin at all. I thought I would give these a try and they are SOOOOO much better!! Very sharp and stay sharp during the whole dermaplane treatment. Highly recommend!

I bought these to use with a Swann-Morton Scalpel Handle and they work amazing. I use them for various craft work or any time a super sharp knife is needed and they never disappoint. Part of the trick is to buy a high quality handle. The Swann-Morton is ideally balanced and just feels good in your hand. I previously would use an exacto knife or one of those plastic knife things where you snap off the end of the blade at the serration (which is dangerous and never breaks where you want it to). The exacto has a round handle that is difficult to orient in your hand. I can clearly see why surgeons would use these blades/handles for intricate work where precision counts. And the best news is that these are way cheaper than exacto or the break it off blade things. Try it, you'll like it !
