Don't buy these latches from this vendor!!!! I have bought these previously, although, didn't realize it was from a different vendor and was completely happy. So, when I repurchased them I though this was the same vendor. I didn't realize until it was to late to return they were not. THESE WERE FLIMSY & CHEAPLY MADE!! THE SCREW BROKE OFF AS I WAS ATTACHING TO THE PURSE.

They are just stamped steel. But is should have known by the price and quantity as it seemed to be too good to be true.
