A Must Have When Adding Wheel Spacers
When installing any kind of slip-on wheel spacer, it is very important to change your lug bolts. This is necessary because the added thickness of the spacers reduces the thread engagement of the stock lug bolts. The solution to this is extended length lug bolts. With the added thread length, the bolts are able to engage your hub with enough turns for safer operation. StanceMagic has you covered with a wide range of extended lug bolts! Be aware that installing bolts that are too short can cause them to fall off while driving. Alternatively, installing bolts that are too long may damage brake components. Please see specification list for more info.

- These are extended-length bolts and are meant to be used with wheel spacers.
- Vehicle must use 12x1.5 threaded lug bolts.
- Shank Length: Verify this 42 mm Shank Length Bolt is the correct size. Buyers must measure their OEM bolt and spacer thickness to determine if this is the correct length. Please see above "How to Determine Shank Length Needed" diagram for measuring help.
- Measure before purchasing: Installing bolts that are too short can cause them to fall out while driving. Installing bolts that are too long may damage brake components.
- Verify vehicle lug bolt size, seat, and threads: Check your vehicle's bolt thread size, as various years/models come with different size bolts.
- Seat Type: Check your wheel lug hole. These bolts will only work if your lug holes are Cone Seat (60 Degree Taper). Make sure your wheels bolt seat have this seat type.
- What is the difference between Cone and Ball seat?This is determined by your wheel's lug seat. The seat of the bolt refers to the part of the bolt that makes contact with the wheel's lug seat. The most common seats are Cone (conical / tapered) and Ball (radius / rounded). Cone type features a straight taper seat, whereas Ball type features a curved seat.
- How do I determine what Shank Length I need? 1) Measure shank length of OEM bolt (Threaded portion, starting at end of the seat to the end of the bolt). 2) Measure the thickness of the spacer you will be using. 3) Add measurements from step 1 and step 2, and you have the shank length you need.
- During Installation, ensure that your bolts get 5-8 full turns before the lug nuts/bolts begins to tighten.

The screws come in a nice box, and are well packed.But, the advertise pictures do not match the delivered Product: in the ad they look like Black Oxidized, and they have a small chamfer at the top, physical / see my attached picture: no chamfer, and painted bolt.I expect these to lose the paint and get minor rust over time.Otherwise appear to be ok, and as intended.

These are constructed well and worked perfectly on my Karmann Ghia. If you're attempting to remove the rear axle nut on an old VW, buy a torque converter tool and a set of these! Best investment I've made

2009 BMW 335i xDrive used on rear wheels with 5mm spacers, works like it should. I have not retorqued the bolts yet to see if any has loosen but I will repost if anything changes.
