Could've been a user error, but the way I was raised the rim is the part attached to your actual rubber tire and the wheel is the thing attached to your axle if I am correcting this assumption, they put the direction of the wedge backwards, and if you put it on backwards, not paying attention, they're gonna break

All worked well except the bolt heads are smaller than the original bolts. Had to use a washer to keep the bolt head from trying to cave into the hole when tightening.

I've not hualed much with the trailer that I used these on but they do fit and work as needed so far

Used to put on trailer house wheels on trailer frame to move it. They worked great.

The heads of the bolts do not completely cover the holes in the clamps. The points on the bolt head are enough to keep the bolts on the the clamp, but there is daylight showing around the hole; there should not be daylight as the bolt head should cover the entirety of the hole in the clamp. This is the case with the old bolts on the old clamps. In fact, the old bolts entirely cover the holes on both the old clamps and these new clamps.Additionally, the bolts are too long for my particular setup, but I shortened one to the length of the bolts with some additional efforts. However, this is acceptable to me based upon the wide variations I expect from trailer hubs and wheels and clamps throughout the years. I was not happy about the extra work given that the new bolt heads do not even cover the entirely of the holes in the new clamps.Again, this creates an unacceptable and dangerous condition. The clamps show wear as the points of the new bolt heads scratch into the clamps. Most importantly, it is a dangerous and not fit for the advertised use. I would like to believe this is an isolated incident in which I received mismatched parts. However, I see the wear on the clamps from the bolt head digging into the clamps. There is the absence of that wear on the old clamps with the larger bolt head on the older bolts. The heads of the bolts do not completely cover the holes in the clamps. However, I searched all over town to find a replacement prior to our next, much more distant, camping trip. Eventually, I found a work-around at a specialty hardware store, but it is by no means a perfect replacement. So far, it has held; though I put the torque wrench on it before I leave for the trip and before I come home. In any case, frequently checking the tightness of the lug nuts is more than just a good idea.

They fit and work , but the bolt head size is too small to give really good clamping surface. I would hope for a better fitting product for the price

These were the closest fit to what I needed, the bolts were a little long, but everything else was to short. So a little trim and they worked great.
