The bottle itself works as intended. However, the spigot lever was broke on arrival.

The carboy itself is excellent quality made of thick and tough HDPE plastic. I purchased two of these for my laboratory to dispense deionized water. Both spigots were broken within a week. Fortunately, quality replacement spigots are inexpensive and easy to find.The top caps of the carboys have a silicone gasket to prevent leaks during transport, however, while dispensing you will want to loosen the cap so that air can get into the vessel as the liquid drains.

High quality construction. Has a nice weight to it and no imperfections. Perfect for water, laboratory samples, chemicals for titration, you name it. Will buy again, great price for the quality.
