I buy filtered water. I got tired of the gallon jugs leaking over time. It was hard to completely empty these until I figured out the trick to it. Point the hole down and rock it back and forth. The water bounces of the back and flies out the hole. These fit well in my cabinet and stacks easily. I fit a dispenser on it and I'm good to go, filling my cup

Nothing to dislike. Perfect for containing the oil draining from my car's oil pan during fluid change. Vent cap is well engineered; best I've ever seen.

This container works well for collecting liquid. But due to the design it is impossible to empty all the contents. The shape of the bottle top traps liquid and when you try to empty it the liquid splashes around and on the outside of the bottle making a mess.

Exactly what I was looking for, except that the dimensions on the listing are incorrect. This carboy is 9.75 inches tall from base to top of handle (highest point). The listing says it's "9.75" W x 11" D x 9" H" -- and unless "H" stands for "heinie," the measurements are wrong. Disappointing.Also, all who are looking to use this as a water jug for potable water should know that HDPE imparts a plastic taste to water. The smell of this jug tells me I'm in for some tasty plasticizers and endocrine disruptors, despite HDPE being quite stable. Just so you know...
