I used this load cell kit to run experiments with my Arduino. Interfacing is very easy and the sketch was pretty simple to write. As far as an experimental project this kit would get a 5 star rating. However, if you are seriously going to integrate this kit into a useful project you will be disappointed. As another reviewer noted, you can not get repeatable results. That is kind of important in the real world. I could not get the consistent readings using the same test weight over and over.As a learning tool for Arduino its great.

Used this kit with an ESP32 to setup a "smart" scale. No matter what I did, I could never get consistent readings from the load cells. I could power everything up and watch the reading fluctuate drastically. I ended up swapping it with one from an Amazon basics scale (using the HX711 that came with this kit) and had no issues.

Back in my misspent youth, I worked for a company that built load cells for industrial use. I've been out of the field for many years, but when I saw the Geekstory 10kg Digital Load Cell Weight Sensor come across my data feed, I thought this would be a great opportunity to harken back to my youth, so I snapped it up and started playing with it.I set up an Arduino board, attached the load cell and wrote a simple program to display the readings in a loop. Unfortunately, I could not get two readings to match. While I expect some noise and drift, these readings were far enough off that the typical linearization techniques that I use to smooth the output did not help much. This is a nice-enough kit to teach someone the general concepts of working with load cells, but this unit could not be used in a real application. If that's your goal, you should pass on this and look for a better solution.
