I've had the lights for 18 months and theyare starting to not work. They are used for over the cabinet lighting. So that being said not that many hours on them.

I have a 6' version on top of a tall bookcase to highlight some green and blue crystal items--set on a timer for evenings. This 10' one is framing the top and sides of the window in my sewing room. It's plugged into the heavy duty power strip where I also plug my small iron, and other occasional items, like glue gun, phone charging cable, etc, for the sole purpose of alerting me that something electrical is plugged in. The light is very bright and defies being ignored when I leave the room.

These lights are bright, i used total wrap around plastic screw clamps. Nice product easy to install and they look good.

I was looking for something to add a little light on top of my kitchen cabinets. These are very bright! I bought the soft ones, but these really brighten up the kitchen! It could be considered a pro or con! I was disappointed that I had to make the hole in my cabinet bigger because even though the cord length was what I needed, there is a "box" half way up the cord. So the hole I had made in the cabinet wasn't big enough and had to enlarge it (not easy with limited space)!

Love that I can add more rope light. Since in the past my rope lights seem to loss light in portions but you couldn't fix it unless replacing the whole rope. These are a great find. If a section of the lights go out I can buy a replacement for that section

I used these outdoor lights to decorate my yard for Christmas and they worked perfectly, even in the snow. They are easy to install, good quality and very bright, they work really well. I would like it to be a little longer though.
