the end of the wires sting like one of those box batteries when you touch it to your tongue, except they feel this way on your hands. lacing these suckers up was -fun-they're bright enough for night skating but if I stomp a lil too hard the lights turn off, I'm a pretty smooth skater so it doesn't happen oftenI could lace up my boots with these alone. they're really strong

Out of the box multiple units didn't work. All of them were cheap and immediately began a high pitch whining noise. Returned immediately. Not very bright either.

I got these LED string lights to back light a sign, they’re just not bright enough, especially during the day. Probably mostly good for accenting things, if that was your goal then these would be good for that. There is an annoying high pitched sound that is noticeably audible so you have that to contend with as well. They work, and they are reasonably priced.

Burners and pretty much anyone who wants to decorate using lights. These are great ! Easy to use , and work really well. Nice and bright definitely do use a lot of batteries but not disappointing

Worked decently well, but the connection points are weak. One had already pulled out of the connector when I received it, and two others broke down over the course of the night out. One battery pack messed up while out, and we were able to swap it out for a spare that we had brought along.

The fact that you get 15 different EL wires AND a Battery Connector for each one makes this an amazing value deal. On top of that - f you pair these with a USB AA step Down connector - you can say buh bye to using batteries and plug into a USB brick.
