So I bought this product, because I needed my iPad fixed ASAP. I watched several videos on how to install it, removing and placing the screen went well. Then I turned on my iPad and the whole screen was black we thought we messed it up so we took the cables off and tried again and same thing, so I reached out to Amazon for a EXCHANGE they said I could only do a return and the money would be back on my card in 1-2 hours, well that didn’t happened, then I was told they could place the money on a gift card in 5-7 hours I waited 24 hours, and went to support again and now they’re saying 30 days after I needed a simple return because of a faulty LCD screen 😡. So now I’m without my iPad and almost $200 dollars!

Everything went well up until I was closing it up. I ran a function check and it worked sit should but when closing it up I damaged the middle cable harness and had to order another one. The middle harness was very stiff and did not want to go where it had to to close. I thought it was ok but when I did a final function check it would not turn on and upon closer inspection I found the middle harness had been caught up and damaged. I have ordered another so hopefully this will turn out better.

Install went swimmingly…even for a 1st time amateur such as myself…FYI…you will have to order tape though to reseal the screen (doesn’t come with the kit). I used a 2mm LCD repair tape found here on amazon for $6.99…
