We had to add an extra hook on it to hang it where we needed to keep it - can't really lay it down anywhere since it's being used in a manufacturing facility. This is our 2nd one but they are good quality.

If you have to be able to reach far to get your water samples, then this is for you. It is sturdy, so you don't really have to worry about spilling a ton of water when taking your samples. Only thing that can be a minus for some is that the pole part is not redactable, so the length is what is is.

Works as advertised and is sturdy in construction at half the price of a competing brand. The only limit being the cup at the end is permanently attached and not replaceable, which for my purposes, water testing in fresh water streams and ponds, is not a limitation.

This dipper works as advertised but you don't dare drop it. I did from waist high and the cup broke off. Three weeks old and now in the trash.
